Showcasing some of the Bay Area’s finest
high school musicians, join the award winning Jazzschool Studio Bands, under
the direction of Keith Johnson, in concert with world-renowned jazz trombonist Andy Martin. Andy Martin has long been one of L.A.’s first-call trombonists for commercial recordings, television and motion pictures, and live theater. A world-class jazz musician, Andy has released eight albums showcasing his dazzling improvisation alongside other top jazz artists. Martin is well-known
for his work as a lead player and featured soloist with many top big band in L.A. Most notably, he has performed with Gordon Goodwin’s Big Phat Band,
the Bill Holman Big Band, and Tom Kubis’ band.
