Singer, recording artist and educator Ed Reed conducts a three-part series covering, at a very personal and in-depth level, the aspects that make a singer truly authentic in the jazz tradition. Each workshop consists of an interactive lecture with exercises that
promote self-evaluation. Each workshop also offers ample opportunity to perform and interpret class material.
Maximum student enrollment: 10.
Maximum number of auditors: 10.
Prerequisites: no jazz singing experience necessary. Students must bring at least 4 songs with accompanying sheet music to class.
