Bay Area treasure Faye Carol is known for her soulful singing and interpretations, infusing every song with a depth and character that is instantly recognizable as her very own. In honor of Black History Month, Ms. Carol shares the stories of her musical journey and talks about the African American experience as it relates to and informs her musical expression. Participants are encouraged
to bring a song of their choice to sing with Ms. Carol’s accompanist for critique and suggestions. A Q & A period concludes the workshop. All levels welcome!
