Howard Wiley’s workshop addresses rhythmic and thematic jazz improvisation, with a goal of moving beyond playing solos based on endless streams of eighth notes. The workshop also includes a discussion of the blues in everything from Louis Armstrong to Giant Steps. Open to all!
